HSC's 3rd Annual Golf Fundraiser

Club President Bill Manchester & Chairman Ralph Bocchino

Hunter's third annual Golf Fundraiser took place on May 13, 2016 and was again a tremendous success. At the fundraiser dinner, club President Bill Manchester announced the first recipient of HSC's newly minted Ralph Bocchino Volunteer Award, which was deservedly awarded to our very own Ralph Bocchino.

This award is presented to him in appreciation of his outstanding leadership and volunteering to the Hunter Soccer Club. Ralph has been involved with HSC for 35 years and was President for 26 years. We can’t thank Ralph enough for all that he does!  This award will be given each year at our Golf Fundraiser to the individual who, like Ralph, puts forth the same excellence and dedication through their leadership and volunteering efforts. We look forward to handing out this honor each year.

In 2017, Lulu Country Club will again serve as the venue for our 4th annual fundraiser.  This event raises funds to support HSC's youth soccer programs, which benefit 1,500 boys and girls in our community. Your donation helps ensure that our soccer programs remain among the most affordable in Eastern Montgomery County.

Our Soccer Programs include the following:

  • Intramural- For pee-wees and younger children.
  • PDP- A player development program for players transitioning to travel soccer.
  • Travel- For boys and girls between 8-18 years old.
  • Jack Walsh Tournament- Our annual travel soccer tournament, held each October.
  • Camp- Summertime soccer skills camp for children of all ages.

Nearly 1,500 youth annually participate in Hunter's soccer programs, making us one of the most popular youth soccer clubs in Eastern Montgomery County. Our programs are coached by qualified volunteers and supplemented by professional soccer trainers from Future Player Academy (FPA). All coaches and trainers must complete an annual risk management certification and participate in concussion awareness training.

Hunter Soccer Club is based in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Our clubhouse is located in Penbryn Park.
